This is a goodbye – sort of….

And the catalyst was guilt due to the lack of time. The workload on my record company and my healing work has increased dramatically. Sixteen hour days now, up from twelve as has the bulk of artwork from my friends appearing in the Bubble. (sometimes I sleep, LOL).…

And there lies the problem – I cant keep up with the submissions to the
Bubble – hence feelings of guilt. I loved commenting on other peoples work. The word WOW figured quite often as a result of seeing someone’s work.

So not leaving, just popping in from time to time to explore for the Wow factor and make the odd comment. Perhaps up-load the odd photograph.

If anyone would like to take over the moderation of the Watersports Group that would be appreciated.

If any of my friends would like to stay in touch please email me on tag

Well that was quick – got a result from my good friend Richard Veal.

Regarding the hdr, I tried it with CS3, and it took for ever, and the outcome was, well, cr@p.

I come across a programme called Dynamic Photo HDR on the net. You can download a trial version, and it only cost £25 for the full programme. Have a look at Catherines work to get an idea. Also, it will do an hdr from 1 pic.

Its worth a look matey.

Any one who would like to have a bash at HDR there is a good tutorial here -

Can be done with any digi camera and a good tripod. Only drawback is that you also need Photoshop CS2 or above.

Altho there are prob other programmes around that would do. Google wlll doubtless reveal all.

Have fun – I’m going to. First I need to find my tripod first. Now did I leave it in the………

Goodbye Arizona (followed by a disaster)

AZ was wonderful (again). We decided to stay local this time so a typical day would be to set off in the morning somewhere…err….local like one of the national parks, a zoo at one point, a copper mining town (looking for Cornish immigrants or descendents there of), sitting in spiritual vortex’s for a meditate, or just looking for photo opportunities. Then coz eating out is so cheap in the USA one of their huge lunches (which I was never able to fully consume, and whilst ordering, having to explain that I was a vegan and not a veggie else I got offered fish. I learnt that trick on the plane first time round) then home to the ranch to sit by in the pool or read or more meditation.…

If Cyndi had to do some phone astrological readings (she’s good – gets it spot on with me everytime damn it) I w

'WHEN' and 'WHEN NOT TO' add a frame to a pic.

Hi Everyone

Wayne Holman, whose excellent work can be found at:

made the following comment on my pix

“I don’t think you need the frame though mate it’s good enough as it is………..”

Well that stopped me dead in my tracks.

After someone pointed out a while back that there is a range of frames in CS2 off I went like a madman adding them to most of my pics. Food for thought then following Wayne’s comment.

So I would appreciate it if we could start a discussion on this page about ‘when’ and ‘when not to’ add a frame. Would any one else care to add some definitions of their own?

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts.

Sorry everyone – not been around much. I suddenly got overwhelmed by stuff for my record company and getting ready for my Second Great Arizona Adventure. I leave the UK next week. OMG where did that go. Seems only a couple of days ago it was a month to my departure.

Will be back mid March and expect a big hit of AZ pics. LOL.

I shall miss y’all.

Red Bubble - Taking it to the next level.

RedBubble – Taking it to the next level?…

Why are we here?

a) A platform in which to exhibit our artwork
b) A place to admire and be inspired by the work of others.
c) Ultimately we would all like to sell our work.

I am very pleased to note that lately the Bubble is also becoming a social network. I wait for the comments from such as Meach ready to fall off my chair with laughter.

But unlike Facebook (“See you down the pub at 9pm M8T”) the Bubble has PURPOSE!!
And the purpose is for the production of BEST WORK.

There are those out there who love art and buy it for that reason. But there must be billions out there who think art is something you have to take out a second mortgage in order to purchase. And yet here we are offering for sale reasonably priced original and brilliant artwork.

Addition to Noah and the Ark

I should hastily add that I did not write the Noah bit. It came to me via the web and sat there. Till Nathan Jonson put up an article yesterday about the Death of Common sense. Thought Noah would add weight to his article.
Sorry should have made that clear in the first place.

Noah and another Hmmmmmmm

In the year 2007 the Lord came unto Noah, who was now living in England,…

and said:

“Once again, the earth has become wicked and over-populated, and I see

the end of all flesh before me. Build another Ark and save two of every

living thing along with a few good humans."

He gave Noah the CAD drawings, saying: "You have 6 months to build the

Ark before I will start the unending rain for 40 days and 40 nights."

Six months later, the Lord looked down and saw Noah weeping in his yard,

but no Ark. “Noah!” He roared, "I’m about to start the rain! Where is

the Ark?"

“Forgive me, Lord,” begged Noah, "but things have changed. I needed

Building Regulations Approval and I’ve been arguing with the Fire

Brigade about the need for a sprinkler system. My neighbours claim that

I should have obtained planni
