To dance with you in plastic skin

To dance with you in plastic skin
your tender lips
taste like strawberries
and my heart
a hundred bits of broken pieces
bursts of lavender
smells drifting along
like an army off to war
I think about you the most
and have shoveled in mountains
to touch a mere inch of your skin
then,
I think of the furies
the impossible desires you keep
bundled up in a red ribbon
So,
I sail in restless dreams
to Queen Mauds land
the icicles like diamonds
the towering pines
lofty and inviting
and I don’t want to sleep
because I dream of you
in the water.
