Rosella Jam “ Rosella is from the Hibiscus Family

Ingredients

500 grams rosella fruits, seeded
Keep seeds…
250g (a1 cup) white sugar
1 lemon cut in quarters
Water enough to cover seeds & lemon

Cooking Instructions
Cover the seeds & Lemon in large saucepan & simmer until tender.
Strain through large sive into saucepan & add the red husks
Then simmer for 45 minutes or until tender.
Add same amount of sugar, you can measure with a cup.
Cook until it sets on a spoon/plate.
Bottle & allow to cool.
{pour into hot, sterilized jars, seal when cold}
