3dhistory is really an extension of the 3dhistory.co.uk web site where we are using modern 3d graphics software to create digital versions of historical events that we present as interactive graphics and animations. The web work is low resolution, simply because it has to be.

What we are publishing on redBubble is an attempt at producing high quality artworks derived from the same 3d elements we use as a basis for 3dhistory.co.uk.

Not as easy as we thought I might add – as soon as you turn up the scale dial the subject can all so easily turn into a lifeless block of pixels. We think that what we have done so far is in the right direction but there is so much more to learn.

RedBubble is a great place, not only because it allows us to publish our work and fund the web site, but also because it allows us to see some fantastic pieces by other artists, and that drives us to better things too.
