Sarbat Khalsa: Grand Gathering of Sikhs
This poster illustration is inspired by the Sarbat Khalsa of the Sikh Nation which concluded on Nov 10, 2015 on the outskirts of the city of Amritsar in Punjab. Sarbat Khalsa is a grand congregation of Sikhs from around the world, a representative gathering that has its roots from the time of the 10th Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Gobind Sikhs. Saffron (orange) has a special spirit-political significance for Sikhs which is reflected in many gatherings across the globe.
