Daisy Riot
This image is a mixture of a digital painting and photography and features a riot of brilliantly coloured Livingstone Daisies in their natural, truly vibrant shades bathed in a rainbow of light. The daisies, plants that love the sun and close their petals on cloudy days, are native to South Africa. The flowers are stretching towards the light in a dappled, sunlit glade, some peeping from beneath the leaves and undergrowth, others in full, glorious bloom. The daisies are in shades of hot pink, fuschia, orange, lilac and yellow and were photographed in my garden.
