My tonight's sunset... panorama
Click on thumb for pop-up view Amsterdam South East, the Netherlands Omg, it's that time of the year again: we will be treated with the most marvellous evening skies again, to be enjoyed from our living room. This is one of a series of +50!! [faint] shots I made from the most fabulous sunset I have ever seen - this one made through my bedroom window... later on from the balcony... And, while the sunset was already fabulous in itself, I don't know what really happened, but my camera automatically added some colour and drama to it, that I didn't intend. It must have been something with the camera settings, and I still have to figure out what exactly did it... These are actually two photographs that I manually merged into a panorama, in Photoshop - so I did some editing because of the merging, but no adjustment of colours or sharpening. Photograph made with Pentax K10D camera and Pentax-DA 18-55 lens Since I made these two shots with the intention of merging them, I kept the same settings for both: exp.time sec.1/90 at f/3.5 ISO 100 Focal lenth 18mm Colour saturation was set back to 0 here TAGS : clouds, colourful, dark, evening night, light, orange, red, black, purple, sky, sunset, tree tops See more See more of my Skies collection Comments and feed-back always welcome.
