Druid Tree of LIfe

Druid Tree of Life was started by Brenda as a hand drawn image while on retreat in Sedona, AZ. Through dreams and visions, this wise old tree emerged. She initially resisted the eye inclusion, yet, it nagged her that she wasn't being true to the vision. The artist relented and this work is one of her most popular. Brenda has spun this original version into several other editions, always with the eye. Brenda is often questioned as to the "meaning" of this art. While she’d prefer to leave it to the viewer to decide, the following is a brief synopsis. The tree is earth, earth energy, Goddess, life. The eye represents God, collective consciousness, wisdom, compassion. The suns and moons are both time and space. The uniqueness of each day, each person, each action, each thought is represented by the different faces. The principle of "as above, so below" is perfectly embodied by a tree as the root circumference frequently is the same as the branch circumference. The Tree of Life is one of the oldest symbols.
