A little backstory: the first time I visited a Book Off (think secondhand bookstore) in Japan, I was taken aback by the number of girls and women of all ages milling about in the BL section. Suddenly, I wasn't alone in my love of yaoi--something that very few people in the U.S. understood or appreciated. I knew then that I had come home. :)
