I am donating all profit to human rights organizations that Donald Trump would hate. Why? Because it’s time to fight like hell for the causes we care about. Reproductive rights. BIPOC protections. Safety of immigrants. LGBTQ+ protections and rights along with other marginalized and vulnerable populations. Welcome to the resistance.
I created my seekingclarity shop in 2016 in direct response to the racist and misogynistic election of Donald Trump. I was already donating money to organizations that were working to protect and support vulnerable populations and meaningful causes, but I wanted to do something more. An incredibly vivid dream one night gave me the answer: set up a shop with the sole purpose of giving 100% of the profit to non-profit human rights organizations. I woke up and realized that was exactly what I was going to do. The idea took off like wildfire, and since 2016, I have donated thousands of dollars.
In the early days of my shop, I made every item by hand. I am a clinical psychologist by day, so I spent early mornings before work—and late evenings after work—putting designs on t-shirts and sewing tote bags. When the volume grew too large for me to handle, I turned to RedBubble so I could have local printers help with the production.
Given the disastrous results of the 2024 US presidential election, human rights organizations need us now more than ever before. Thanks for being a part of the resistance with your purchase. Together we will make a difference.
