The 6th image in my "Pushing Up Daisies at an Oceanside Resort" series. I love just about anything covered in ivy or vines. This incredible cross was no exception. And I really like the Celtic cross in the background. Captured at the Waverley Cemetery in Bronte, NSW, AU in July, 2010. What an amazing, peaceful spot. I'm not a religious person whatsoever. In fact, I'd consider myself somewhere between atheist and agnostic. Yet, I'm in awe of so many structures and buildings around the world dedicated to a higher power. This cemetery has beautiful gravestones and views for days..... B/W conversion, infrared and soft focus filter added in PSE 8. Featured in "The Black and White Enthusiast" Group, October 2010.
