This photo was taken from the International Terminal at Kingsford-Smith Airport, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It shows a BAe Sud Concorde airliner of British Airways (G-BOAF) taxiing towards the International Terminal. It was on a charter flight arriving from New Zealand during which part of the rudder (about half) had separated from the jet. The date was 12 April 1989.
The photo was taken with an Asahi Pentax SPII 35mm film camera using Kodachrome Transparency Film. The lens used was a zoom lens of about 80-200mm.
The photo was tweaked using Gimp software - select/copy/paste and smudge to remove some imperfections, brightness/contrast tool and sharpening filter.
This image has been censored as a result of a complaint by British Airways via redbubble.com. Original (uncensored) image apparently removed by redbubble.com.
