Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales
Growing up I've always been intrigued by the original Grimm's Fairy Tales. Having gone back as an adult to see how many that I missed out on getting to know was very disappointing. There were so many not so mainstream stories that I wish I had read when I was little. I also noticed in my research that there weren't any illustrated images of the brothers themselves. Giving them the credit they so very well deserve I wanted to depict the imagination process behind their collaboration and pay a tribute to the many hours of writing and 'burning the midnight oil' they did to bring the world and many generations to follow these amazing stories from their beautifully dark and strange imagination.
