Cathy and Heathcliff
Cathy and Heathcliff, this piece was inspired by the book Wuthering Heights written by Emily Brontë. I have a particular love for Wuthering Heights so imagining Cathy and Heathcliff on the Yorkshire Moors wasn't a hard task! I especially enjoyed creating her shawl as it somehow makes you feel the bracing Yorkshire air too. The original piece was completely hand stitched onto upcycled denim, and each blade of grass and heather was stitched with fine detail.
