B A S S E T - C O V E ? Basset Cove ? I was on the fence as to whether to post this shot. I could have had better light, I could of stopped by earlier in the year before the sea pinks (thrift) had died back... But as this was my first time here, I decided to share a photo. There was a little colour in the sky which prompted me to take this shot. Although I felt it required heavy colour grading to bring out the rust colours in the rock an make the image stand out. Colour grading is something I'm wrestling with at the moment... Should I push on with this popular style of today, or should I process my photos more classically? My aim is often to be somewhere in between. It's a rhetorical question but if you have an opinion I'd gladly hear it :) (PS I've seen different spellings of this location... which spelling is correct and why?) :) ? ? ?
