Vortex Ripples
Vortex Ripples was created as part of a series of experimental scribbles which explored the idea of creating shading without traditional shading techniques.
Hand drawn using pen and ink, I feel that this image has achieved a sense of movement and vivacity without having any detailed content.
I have found this series very interesting to work on, and although they are relatively simple to create, they are visually complex and inviting.
