Getting Snowed In
It's not often I paint aircraft, mostly because I don't think I'm very good at it. I can do cars, trains and cityscapes, but aircraft have always been a little difficult to handle. Either way, I do attempt it sometimes, as per this painting of a cosy scene at JFK airport, with a line of transatlantic flights being prepared for an overnight service amid a thick blizzard. I'm reminded of Planes, Trains and Automobiles whenever I look at this painting.
