First Sign Fright (Aries) Pattern
This is the pattern edition of the first design in my Western/tropical astrology series, which incorporates my creepy, curly aesthetic. After a period of deliberation, I decided to represent what I have observed as broader and more universal aspects of Aries: its symbol, the body part with which it is most associated, its ruling planet, etc. While I am not an expert in any type of astrology, I have been an enthusiastic student for quite some time, and wanted to reflect that via one of my favorite mediums. This piece was constructed from both vintage and modern ephemera.
