Sacred in the Ordinary Mandala
One of my nature mandala series, this began while walking on the beach. An ordinary image of "stuff" on the beach was the source image that created this Sacred in the Ordinary mandala. Mandalas are found across all cultures & religions and are often believed to hold spiritual meaning. Often, I use trees & nature in my mandalas to augment this spiritual aspect. Each one of these photographic mandalas begins as a traditional photographic image which is transformed through my own processes to create these unique designs that reveal to us another view of our world.
