Rust Red Rails
For this kinda abstract perspective piece, I began with a pale blue-gray wash for the city, keeping the buildings soft and slightly hazy, then added the bridge rails in layered rust and terra-cotta pigments. The little cars along the roadway give the scene its everyday rhythm.
