Ra Rises
'When thou risest in the horizon of heaven a cry of joy goes forth to thee from all people' ~ Hymn to Ra
Based on my papyrus painting which was inspired by the protective falcon pectoral belonging to king Tutankhamun. One of the Ankhs on the original object was damaged. I have restored this and added feldspar inlay (green feathers) in this iteration.
The clock version features hieroglyphic numbers and the markers are formed by the hieroglyph 'mr' meaning pyramid.
