Patterns In Ice
February, 2018, was a bitterly cold month here in metro Vancouver, BC, Canada. There was ice everywhere! Because I have a terrible fear of falling, due to my having already had 2 major back surgeries, I am extra cautious in icy conditions. Had I not been looking down to avoid all the slippery spots on a walk with the dog, I would have missed this. Puddles had iced over and with the sun shining down on them, magical patterns had appeared. I stopped, took a few shots, and carried on. It's amazing what you discover when you don't always look straight ahead! Camera used was SM-G920W8.
