Copeland Coffee
I know this is a cup of tea but the cake is coffee cake! The cup, saucer and tea plate are early Copeland China from 1851-1895 which I found in an antiques centre in Dorchester when I was visiting my Uncle. The set has green and gold stripes and roses and is pattern D5488G. I liked the fact that my vintage tablecloth has a similar flower embroidered on it to the pink primrose I choose to include in my picture.
I used Saunders Waterford NOT 200lb watercolour paper. My paints were Winsor and Newton Aureolin, Rose Madder and Winsor Blue (Green Shade)
