Vision

This image was created for a poster that is part of a campaign for an organization called Noledge working to raise acceptance of cultures through traveling. The reflection in her eyes is the organizations logo. The word vision was placed on the poster together with the tag line let your adventure begin. The idea was to illustrate the experiences you get when you travel. The other posters illustrated touch, sound and aroma. The original photograph was take in Sudan 2004, and the original image is of a group of children where this girl is standing in the left hand corner, and her eyes really are amazing... Unfortunately the image was of very bad quality, but there was something about it that spoke to me and so I started to recreate her using skin from different photographs and then shade it to blend in... in the end it really is more of a painting than a photograph... :o)
