Viewpoint At Red Point
A different day from my last visit in 2012 (see below) Situated at the north-western end of Loch Torridon in Wester Ross,NW Scotland, facing out to the Inner Hebridean Islands of Skye,Rona and Raasay, the Minch (the water between the mainland and the Outer Hebrides) with distant views to the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Red Point is reached by taking the road just south of Gairloch via Badachro and following it until it runs out. From there you can take the coastal path for 7 miles to Lower Diabaig on Loch Torridon or just a few hundred yards to the beach beyond Red Point Farm.
