Tilted Channel
The sea surges into the rocks at Stokes Bay, Kangaroo Island.
Interesting rock layers show the layers of folded rocks emerging at the head of Stokes Bay. The layer rises above the water level exposing smooth layers with cracked surfaces looking like cobbled pathways.
Strong winds and big waves were crashing into the rocky shore and surging up the beach. The setting sun cast a yellow glow beyond the further headland.
