The Ringer

This statue stands outside the Stockman's Hall of Fame in Longreach, Queensland. This is cattle country, and the stockmen or "ringers" as they are colloquially known in these parts, play a vital role in the running of the cattle station. The sunsets come and go quickly in these parts and I knew I had to work fast. I got down low to the ground to shoot upwards to get as much of that brilliant sky as possible.
