The Rending
I shot this photo a while ago and only got around to editing it recently. It goes along with another photo I took at the same time, and that one will becoming along later, as it will require considerably more editing :) This was interesting for me to work up, as I was specifically aiming to do minimal processing, which, of course, is less common for me. I do have to give credit to Geoff who suggested adding in the light effects! While many photographers have streams filled with happy, holiday, cheery photos right now, this photo has a darker tone to me. And that's ok. This time of year can be very stressful to people :) And I am personally experiencing an extremely trying period (for a number of reasons) so I wanted to create something that reflected my feelings in some way.
