The Matrix Minimalist Poster
This is a minimalist poster for the 1999 science fiction, action thriller classic "The Matrix," written and directed by the Wachowskis. The groundbreaking film broke the barrier with visual effects and intricately choreographed fight sequences that would forever change the genre of action movies. The story follows Neo, a supposedly average computer programer, and his awakening to the real world outside of the matrix. He searches for answers to what his human friends call him: the One. The poster is inspired by a monologue of Laurence Fishburne's Morpheus, in which he presents Neo with a red pill and blue pill, one that sends him back to the matrix, and one that sends him "further down the rabbit hole."
