View Larger on Chockstone Photography Built in 1875, Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse resides at the northern end of Myall Lakes National Park and guards the headland known as Seal Rocks. With over 20 wrecks since it was constructed the area is still dangerous to navigate despite guidence from lighthouse. The area contains a small village also called Sea Rocks which includes holiday accomodation. You can even stay at the lighthouse cottages themselves. The point is reportedly a great spot for whale watching during their annual migration, which takes place from May to November. The aptly named Treachery Headland walking track is another nearby activity.
