As well as editing books, poetry also courses in her blood. Anthologies such as Illejla Ismagħni Ftit (Tonight listen to me a little), Gżejjer (Islands), F’Kull Belt Hemm Kantuniera (In every town there is a corner) litter the local book scene. Translations of her short stories have been published in literary reviews, in Cyprus, Ireland, Hungary, Latvia and Wales. Two short stories Il-Linja l-Ħadra (The Green Line) have been translated into English, has also won the Maltese National Book Award for fiction. The story The Green Line was also nominated as one of the best online stories in 2006 (www.storysouth.com/millionwriters.html). I do not know the lady but intend to do so in as immediate future as I can manage.
