Shell View
Another shot showing off the stunning coastline of Herm . This is Shell Beach - as the name suggests it is made up of shells. The sand is tiny bits of shell said to be brought over to Herm by the Gulf Stream from the Caribbean. I was in Antigua a few weeks ago and saw a beach there where the sand was exactly the same and realised this story I'd heard all my life must be true!
