I'm on a quest to improve my composition skills.
Most of my Images on here rely mainly on the subject itself being interesting enough to attract viewers. While I did put some thought into composition while taking the shots I really didn't know what i was doing and a lot of my shots were just lucky.
This shot is of an old fountain i have in my backyard. Really old and worn and actually doesn't work. I had tried many times to take a shot of it and make it interesting with no success.
This time i actually "worked" the shot, put some thought into it, thought about POV and framing, Simplified it, and this is what i came up with. I instantly liked it I hope you all do too.
Converted to B&W and blurred a little
