It's the starkness of this photo that I love. It’s not the sharpest photo, but to me acceptable considering the wind, the rain, and the fact that I was standing on a moving boat when I shot it. But it’s natural, and to me this “sentinal” really shows nature, and life – strong, unforgiving, sometimes cold, but powerfully alive and utterly beautiful. 50% of profits from RedBubble sales of this image will go toward supporting WIRES (NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service).
