Hello everyone! This is the third in a series exploring the supernatural in the modern day world. This is Sayuri, and she is a Kuchisake-onna, a Japanese ghost that was mutilated by her husband and returns as a malicious spirit. She will ask someone "Am I pretty?". If they answer no, they are killed with a pair of scissors which she carries. If they answer yes, the woman pulls away the mask, revealing that her mouth is slit from ear to ear, and asks "How about now?". If they answer no, she/he will be cut in half. If the person answers yes, then she will slit his/her mouth like hers. It is impossible to run away from her, as she will simply reappear in front of you. Roisin (My amazing friend Suzuka translated the above into Japanese for me!) みなさんこんにちは！ こちらは現代世界の超自然的なものシリーズ第3弾の作品です。 この絵に写っている女性はさゆりといいます。彼女は夫に口を裂かれてしまい、人々を襲いに戻ってきたという話で有名な口裂け女です。 さゆりは「私、綺麗？」と人々に質問し、「綺麗じゃない」と答えると彼女の持っているハサミでその人達を殺していきます。また、彼女の質問に「綺麗」と答えた人にはマスクを外して耳から大きく裂けた口を見せながら 「...これでも...?」と聞きます。そして「綺麗じゃない」と答えるとその人達は半分に斬られてしまい、反対に「綺麗」と答えると、その人達もさゆりのように口を裂かれてしまいます。逃げようとしても目の前に現れ続ける彼女からは、誰も逃げられません。 よろしければ、この絵に関するみなさんの御意見、ご感想をお聞かせください。 作者 ルーシン
