Reflections
Taken at Vivid Sydney – a festival of light, music and ideas May 27 – June 21 2010 Trying to capture images that adequately reflect the beauty of this event is quite a challenge in itself. Blurry light projections, the tussle of passing viewers who bump into your tripod as they lean in for a closer look and the movement of the actual display as it transitions through different visual landscapes make the job of the photographer quite difficult. For me, this is one of those shots that makes standing in the cold close to midnight all worthwhile. Firstly I love the reflection of the moon on the water . Taking a closer look, I also love how the tree to the right is reflected in the artwork that cloaks the Opera House. I hope this also gives you another glimpse of what it is like to visit Vivid Sydney. chasingsooz 2010
