Prayer Rocks
I've always meant to post this picture, but for some reason I didn't. Today I thought about it and the time seems so right to add it to my other photos. There is so much grief and sadness in this world as we know it. Horrible conflicts over religious rights and beliefs leading to bereft and often wounded survivors as well as some angered who choose revenge, millions of people starving or riddled with disease, crazy weather patterns affecting the entire world, potential wars happening or looming on the horizon, homeless and jobless people with no way to recovery, drug and alcohol addiction ruining and taking lives, random killing sprees, domestic violence - the list goes on and on... So, if you read this and if you have it in your heart, say a prayer for those in desperate need or send positive energy their way. I choose to believe in the good, just as I hope you do too. Most of the things that I mentioned above are beyond our individual control. However, I believe that if we all work together as one and put our positive healing prayers and thoughts out there, instead of letting these things take us down into negative thought patterns, that we can change some life events. Even the smallest passion such as a warm smile or talking to a stranger kindly, can give that person who is feeling helpless a little bit of hope! It sure can't hurt to try...This is dedicated to those who are sick and suffering on planet Earth. This photograph was shot at Lake Folsom State Park in Folsom, California, USA, with a Canon 40D, equipped with an 18-200mm lens.
