Millennium Mist

Now this one's been waiting a very long time for completion. I first doodled this as a sketch back in 2011 when I was in one of my GCSE Maths classes after seeing the image in a video on YouTube. The video was filmed down 7th Avenue in Manhattan looking towards the Twin Towers on the 01/01/2000, the dawn of the new Millennium. The image of the World Trade Center at dawn stuck with me as three days later I would be in New York myself, changing planes to fly back to the UK after celebrating the new Millennium in Tampa with my folks. Little did I know that as I departed JFK aboard my Delta Airlines flight, this would be the last time I would ever see the Twin Towers with my own eyes. :( But still, years after I first unconciously doodled it up, here it is, scanned and coloured for your viewing! :D Merry Christmas!
