Microchip
This image was taken from a silicon wafer full of microchips, and light was shown at an angle to get just the right iridescent colors to appear at 100x magnification. Different functions of the chip can be seen: memory, wiring, and test sites along the borders. The photo was taken with a Canon PowerShot G9 with two 10x add-on macro lens set (total of 100x magnification).
