Measuring Planck's Constant
What is Planck's constant? Planck's constant is at the heart of quantum mechanics and it's discovery was what truly kickstarted the field. It shows up in almost all of the major equations, from Schrodinger, to Heisneberg, to Dirac and more! The original use of the constant was as the minimum amount of energy an individual photon can have. For such an important number it's incredible to find out that it's actually very simple to measure.
