Mauve Memory No.2: Vintage florals in soft tones
Mauve Memory is my third series of classic inspired digital artwork.
These artworks are informed by the classic paintings and sculptures of a bygone era, bringing the old into the contemporary realm.
This series of artworks celebrate the ornate aspects of classic design with sculptural floral elements and a focus on visual texture. The works are executed in a distinct color palette of purple, pink and hints of burgundy along with muted grey tones. While figurative elements can be glimpsed in some, the artworks are mostly floral in nature.
These artworks are created in Photoshop using digital collage along with other digital tools and resources.
