The force opposing Deceit is Openness and It’s A new Day Today by Imber, represents this so well.
The whole image is infused with light. It is spring and we can almost feel and smell the freshness that exudes from the image. The colours and tones are crystal clear and vibrant. We see a young woman – sitting in the middle of a field, quite naked. Nothing adorns her, except her hair of grass and primroses, – which immediately connects her to the landscape. She is separate, yet completely part of it. She is open, both to the world she inhabits and to herself.
The blending in this image is skilfully done, – everything in the image is crystal sharp and clear. No blurry edges or overlap, no fogging, no mystery here. This is openness in its truest sense. We can see where things start and finish. Deceit has no place in this world.
