Vintage leather baby shoes still packed with cardboard inserts and tissue paper in a box by "Ideal Baby Shoe," a shoe manufacturer dating back to the late 1800s/early 1900s in Danvers, Massachusetts. Belonged to my ancestors.
Title and work inspired by Ernest Hemingway's famous flash fiction: "For Sale: Baby shoes, never worn."
