As NS 15T rumbles through the Shenandoah Valley with a sleek new Landmark Series locomotive, paying tribute to the railroad's history in the city of Atlanta, and a foreign BNSF motor third out, the Dry Run Trestle in Compton, VA supports the train's movement over a 100-foot drop in the landscape. Constructed in 1918 by the Pennsylvania Steel Company, this bridge spans 118 feet and continues to support mainline movement to this day.
