Business Extra This empty cloud trap has been in service now for several months, and the operators are dismayed that it has not yet snared any commercially viable clouds. Market research last year indicated that clouds were becoming increasingly rare in Australia and that 2010/2011 was expected to be good years for sales. However, in recent months the market has been flooded with imported clouds so the operators are open to suggestions about an alternative use for this architectural oddity. A particularly harrowing day at the screen led to this idiotic diversion :)) * *However However...... as if she had an un-tethered idea poised to take flight on receipt of some unknown signal, Evelyn Bach let "Cloud Trap" trigger this glorious ink spill of imagination onto my page. She kindly allowed me to honour her impulsive spontaneity here for your enjoyment. There is nothing more satisfying than knowing that something you have done has inspired another person to create. The Artful Placement of Clouds There was once a man who made it his job to put things in their place. Putting things in their place is what he did. He made the world a tidy place, and no-one had to worry any more that something might have shifted in the night, the way words of songs often do, or the exact flavour of a pear, or sometimes entire suburbs when they pick up their skirts and shuffle onto neighbouring pages in the street directory…. It was this man who instigated the project known as ‘The Artful Placement of Clouds’. It sounded so avant garde and progressive that for a long time no-one looked into it at all.
