CHRISTMAS WISHES
I just love dandelions, and in particular this variety, it is the size of a tennis ball and glows golden in the sunlight. When I was a child I used to call them Santa Clauses as they reminded me of Santa's whiskas. I used to hold a dandelion and think with my heart and mind what I really would love for Christmas, then blow as hard as I could to send the wish on the wind to Santa. Of course I would always tell Mum, and mostly, I received my reward for .. well reasonable behaviour for the year.
Taken with y Canon 40DSLR macro lens, this has had slight colour enhancement and slight cropping to suit RB sizes. I love the softness of this shot, and I find it really amazing that people look at the dandelion and say 'it's only a weed', thanks for visiting
