Block Arcade

The Block Arcade building, developed by financier Benjamin Finke and opened in 1892. Said to be similar in style to the Galleria Vittorio Arcade in Italy. The Collins St arcade and the Elizabeth Street section were designed by David C Askew of the architecture firm, Twentyman and Askew. In the Victorian Mannerist Style.
