Beachport Rocks
Jagged limestone rocks are a feature of the Limestone Coast of South Australia. It's not hard to see how so many ships came to grief on the reefs along this coast and how these jagged rocks would have ripped out the bottoms of wooden vessels. in the distance is the lighthouse, flashing out its warning. For this picture, I was able to get out onto a rocky outcrop as the sun was setting, which let me get behind the waves as they headed for the beach.
