Back Lit Marsh

Sony A350, Sony 18 - 70mm lens at 60mm, shutter 1/125s, f/5.6, ISO 100. This tidal marsh is part of the Chickahominy River basin in southeastern Virginia which drains into the James and eventually into the Chesapeake Bay. The hot August later afternoon sun lit the marsh grass from behind, creating this lush yellowish-green glow that, coupled with the halo around the trees, I just couldn't resist.
