Rocking Robe

Robe, South Australia, Australia Walking around Robe on a late afternoon last summer, the sun was low and bright and harsh, filtered only by the moody clouds. The wind was blowing a treat from the Southern Ocean, leaving the lens filter copping the salty sea air, and the tripod working overtime to hold the baby canon steady. I left the site disappointed at the shoot, thinking I will return when conditions are more favourable. Viewing the results later, I decided that this shot at least was worth keeping. Equipment Canon 7D Canon 350D (as my backup) Sigma 18-50mm EX DC Macro Canon EF 50mm f1.8 Sigma 70-300mm APO DG Canon EFS 18-55mm (crap kit lens…just leave it at home) Canon Speedlite 430EX Various filters including ND2, ND4, ND8, CPL, GND, IR, UV Various Gadgets including Shutter Release Cables, Tripods etc
